About me
Anthony Freda is an award-winning painter and illustrator. His work has appeared in such publications as Rolling Stone, The New Yorker, Esquire, The New York Times, The Voice, Entertainment Weekly, Playboy, and many others.Anthony's paintings have hung in galleries across the country, including the New York Society of Illustrators and The Puck Building at GenArts; Summer Art Festival in 2002. Trained at Pratt Institute and Tyler Art School in Rome, Italy, Freda easily glides between the worlds of commercial art, personal introspection and social commentary.Inspired by imagery from American ephemera, Freda produces new creations that can be beautiful or provocative, but which are always interesting and relevant.Anthony currently lives and works in the mountains of Pennsylvania with his lovely wife Amber, a roof garden and urban garden designer (www.amberfreda.com), their son Antonio, and an occasional black bear...
